Two real life butterflies mounted on white cardstock, encased in a 5x7 inch black frame.

All butterflies are sustainably & ethically sourced from multiple reputable butterfly & insect farms, breeders & conservationists worldwide. None of the specimens used are 'wild caught' or hunted from their natural ecosystem.
Whilst yes, a good portion of the insects bred in farms do end up sold as specimens for various things such as education, research & museums as well as the artwork I make; insect farms do wonderful things for the species they breed. This includes releasing live specimens into the wild to help boost local populations, as well as saving some species from becoming endangered or even extinct due to over hunting in the wild & the inevitable habitat destruction & climate change.
