About Us

 Hi there! We're a one lady (and two kitty) operation based in Brisbane Queensland, born from a lifetime love of collecting all things creepy & curios, and of course a life time love of insects and animals. 

Pumpkin Cat Collectables started as a small hobby eBay store, predominately just selling enough to cover my own collecting wants. Early 2022 after years of admiration and fascination, I started my hand at entomology art & pinning insects myself.

Unfortunately only a couple months into this, I saw my life as I knew it turned upside down when a freak accident saw me suffer a major injury to my dominant right hand. It's been a long journey with years of recovery still ahead of me but the intricate and delicate pinning has been helping my recovery in more ways than one; both keeping me busy and helping me regain strength and movement in my hand.

Everything you find in our store is carefully hand selected or hand made entirely by myself. I'm constantly expanding our products, bringing you a beautiful array of collectables & curiosities I'd be proud to display in my own home or cabinet of curiosities.

As a dedicated vegan, all specimens used in the items created are responsibly and sustainably sourced. We source our insects from various butterfly & insect farms, conservationists & insect lovers world wide. Bones are generally bi-products of meat farming, or have been ethically sourced when the animal has met a natural end.
